Our mothers are the healers, champions, protectors and heroes who have changed the course of history.

Mothers’ Voices Georgia Chapter  (MV-GA) is part of a national grassroots organization that believes in the power of mobilizing mothers to become advocates for HIV/STD prevention, treatment, testing and counseling as well as champions for building life-skills that help women make informed, healthy choices about their bodies, finances and health care.

Factors such as poverty, homelessless, substance abuse and family violence place many women at risk of poor health outcomes.

In 1997, Mothers’ Voices Georgia in collaboration with the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER) created a signature financial education program entitled, Smart Women and Money.

This award winning program provides financial empowerment workshops that educate at-risk women about money and how it can move them toward fiscal stability. Smart Women and Money has reached more than 40,000 women since its inception.

Mothers’ Voices Georgia other award-winning programs include:

  • For Real Youth
  • HIV/STD public advocacy and health literacy.
  • Women of the Village, a talent pool of dynamic, innovative skilled women professionals who donate a portion of their proceeds to the vision, mission and work of MV-Georgia. Please visit our powerful circle of women.
