Women`s Public Advocacy
In collaboration with the Georgia AIDS Coalition, MV-Georgia has developed a 4-hour session teaching women about the legislative process at the federal, state and community level and how to use those skills to advocate for self and community.
MV’s advocacy workshops conducted at community, faith-based and college settings has reached over 600 women and men of color in the U.S.A. and over 1,200 internationally in the countries of Gabon, Nigeria, Ghana and India.
Our e-mail legislative alerts reach over 5,000 women and women’s organizations who are concerned about economic and health disparity issues.
