WomenFinancial Education Program

In 1997, MV-GA joined with the Women’s Institute for A Secure Retirement (WISER) to develop a financial education program on retirement and financial management for at-risk women earning less than $30,000 dollars. More than 40,000 women have received the WISER/MV-GA financial training.

In January 2000, MV-GA served as the host of a special White House teleconference held in Atlanta on retirement issues for women. Former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton chaired the event.
